Reiki

Reiki brings peace and balance to your mind and spirit.

Using a gentle ‘hands on’ technique through clothing, our Reiki Master transfers energy into your body. The word ‘reiki’ derives from 2 Japanese words, ‘rei’ meaning universal and ‘ki’ meaning life force. Whilst this force is accessible to all life forms, Reiki practitioners have an increased amount of ‘ki’ or life force energy which they can access to assist others.

Your Reiki practitioner draws energy from the universal life force. Energy flows through their hands and into your body. The healing effects can be subtle or dramatic and always reflect what your body needs at that time.

Catherine McIver

Reflexology and reiki help alleviate life’s physical, mental and spiritual challenges. Both assist with maintaining general health and wellbeing and compliment other forms of treatment exceptionally well.

I have specialised in performing reflexology on people undergoing cancer treatment - I worked for 4 years at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital’s Solaris Care Centre. As a registered member of the Reiki Association (WA), I am recognised as a public practitioner and master teacher. My affiliation with the Reflexology Association of Australia means health fund rebates are available for my services.

I am pleased to offer my treatment services at the Wellness Centre on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I also provide tuition to students every Sunday.

It is my joy to help others bring health, balance and peace to their lives through reflexology and reiki.
